Accessible Rural House

A shelter inside and out

A climatic refuge of slate and wood, in the Route of the Black Towns of Guadalajara.

The house is divided into 2 floors. On the first floor are the adapted rooms Campillejo and El Espinar. On the second floor, La
Vereda and Matallana. In the living-dining room breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:30 am. In summer, our porch comes to life and in winter the fireplace is the protagonist. We manage the heating and DHW thanks to a multi-fuel biomass boiler. It is our small contribution to preserve the environment by being part of the carbon cycle. In addition, we use environmentally friendly products for the cleaning of the accommodation, made by us, without perfumes and less harmful to our health.

Why the name Los Doce Robles?

It is a nod to the movies and the fabulous trees that surround our house and are the best natural air conditioning we have. If you have seen the movie Gone with the wind (1939), you will remember that in addition to the well-known Tara, the neighboring plantation Twelve Oaks appears. In its magnificent gardens parties were held and we fell in love with the name. So, we appropriated it and planted it to our rural house in Campillejo.
